Hubert Adams in Ards TTA message from a visitor to the site who has emailed the photo and the little information he has... i have a photo of a distant relative Hubert Adams driving a car of unknown make (car number 49) at a northern ireland TT and wonder if you can provide me with any further information. This is the OM of A.V Wilkinson and Frank Clark in the 1929 Ulster TT. Quoting from the Ulster Vintage Car Club Book of The Ards T.T. "In one of the deluges Clarke crashed at Ballystockart and as he and a breakdown crew tried to get the car out of the path of other competitors, Grindley (Triumph) came on to the scene. In trying to slow to avoid the O.M. he too lost control and crashed into it trapping and fatally injuring Clark and one of the breakdown crew, John Kelly of Belfast."

I think that the location of the crash is very close to where Arthur Waite crashed a year later.
