1931 Double Twelve![]()
Reference number: Autocar Glass Plate B5871, W. H. Green and S. F. Barnes, (driver) make some "running repairs", (tightening the radiator cap) to their supercharged Austin TT while competing in the 1931 "Double Twelve" at Brooklands. They went on to finish in 11th place. This photo is from the Autocar magazine archive at LAT Photographic, which is part of Haymarket who I work for. These are scanned from the original glass plates. Please see the "Ordering Prints" page if you would like prints stating the reference above but please mention me, (Austin Harris). |
Cracking shot!
Brings a whole new meaning to *running repairs*.
Robin.
