A slight mystery here. David Thirlby lists the first owner of this Nash as Mrs Lestrange of Hove. However, the driver looks very much like Ivy Cummings, with her new husband, Stanley Simpson seated beside her, so perhaps she had borrowed the car for the occasion?

It is Ivy Cummings at the wheel, coonfirmed by the LC&C report. The event was held on Saturday 20 June 1925, and she was married to Stanley Simpson on the following Thursday.
