Julian Hunt According to the Ulster Vintage Car Club book of the Ards TT: Number 22 is Archie Frazer-Nash who completed 9 laps and retired with "engine trouble", Number 1 is Tim Birkin's 4.5litre supercharged Bentley, who crashed at Ballstockart Bridge after 22 laps (Birkin's only racing accident), and Number 43 is AF Ashby's Riley Brooklands who was running at the end of the race, but was "flagged off" with 25 laps run.
