Unless someone can confirm definitively to the contrary, I rather doubt that this is "Old Stanway" as I know that area well and just can't place the roads - even after allowing for 80 years of tree growth! The photo at http://www.austinharris.co.uk/photo/1932-colmore-cup-trial/180 is obviously taken in the same place. The only sections which feature on both the 1924 and 1932 Colmores are Bushcombe and Old Stanway, and I favour Bushcombe for the two photogrpahs. There is certainly a junction of roads and tracks at the top of the hill which matches the photographs but I haven't yet re-visited to check the lie-of-the-land and those very obvious trees on the horizon.
