    Just a tiny point, Austin, before anyone else takes you to task! 'Villers' should be 'Villiers'. As I'm sure you know, this is a name like Featherstonhaugh, and for some reason it is actually pronounced 'Villers'. Indeed The Autocar's caption to this photo had it as 'Villars' - but Villiers is correct.

    The car is still Cordon Bleu CT6559, the Type 13 that gave Raymond Mays great success as a driver.

    I understand that Francis Giveen owned the Mays Bugatti 'Cordon Bleu' in the 1920's. Could one of the men in the photograph be Giveen? Thanks, Mark Hughes
