21504cc 4 cyl Benz. There is a picture of it and the following description in the Bill Boddy book. "In Barlow's hands this Benz was one of the fastest and most accelerative at the Track in 1922, although at one Essex M.C. meeting it had to be pushed practically out of the paddock, flames exuding from bonnet and exhaust, before it would start, and then it lit-up on the Byfleet banking, leaving a vast trail of smoke behind it before stopping round by the Fork."
